Mr James Gibbs specialises in managing hip, knee conditions along with sports injuries. He regularly performs hip and knee replacement surgery, Redo or revision joint replacement surgery and soft tissue/sports injury operations.

ARTHROSCOPIC KNEE SURGERY
Mr Gibbs regularly performs arthroscopic knee surgery. This includes meniscus debridement and repair, anterior cruciate ligamament reconstruction, anterolateral ligament reconstruction, chondroplasty, micro-fracture and patellofemoral joint reconstruction.

Mr Gibbs forms part of the Regional Major Trauma Service at the Royal Sussex County Hospital. He also provides a Tertiary referral service for patients with pelvic and acetabular fractures. Another sub-specialty interest is in periprosthetic fractures (fractures around joint replacements).
